This week we are excited to celebrate our students during our Awards Ceremonies! 🎓✨ It is a wonderful opportunity to recognize the hard work, growth, leadership, and accomplishments our students have shown throughout the school year. We are proud of all they have achieved! 🌟
As we head into the last full week of school, please continue helping students stay focused and prepared for success:
🎒 No backpacks beginning May 11th through the end of the school year
🆔 Students must wear their school ID daily
📵 Cell phones must remain powered off during the school day in accordance with EISD Dress Code
💻 Students should bring a fully charged Chromebook every day

May is National Physical Fitness and Sports Month, a time to encourage healthy habits, daily movement, and active lifestyles for students and families! 🌟 Staying active helps improve physical health, reduces stress, increases focus, and supports overall well-being.
Simple ways families can stay active together this month include:
🚶 Taking family walks
⚽ Playing outdoor sports or games
🚴 Riding bikes together
🏀 Practicing favorite sports skills
💧 Drinking plenty of water and staying hydrated
Even small amounts of daily activity can make a big difference! Let’s stay healthy, active, and strong this May! 💜☀️

Mayo es el Mes Nacional de la Actividad Física y los Deportes, un tiempo para promover hábitos saludables, movimiento diario y estilos de vida activos para estudiantes y familias. 🌟 Mantenerse activo ayuda a mejorar la salud física, reducir el estrés, aumentar la concentración y apoyar el bienestar general.

🛟 Always supervise children around water — never leave them unattended.
🏊 Encourage children to learn basic swimming skills and water safety rules.
☀️ Stay hydrated and apply sunscreen regularly while outdoors.
🚫 No running near pools to help prevent slips and injuries.
👶 Young children and inexperienced swimmers should wear approved life jackets when appropriate.

📌 Students turn these passes in daily to their 4th and 8th period teachers.

💻 Chromebooks and Repairs for End of the Year |
|
|
Student Chromebooks will be kept over the summer unless the student is not returning to EISD. If a student is moving on to high school or returning next year, they will keep their device for continued use over the summer.
If a Chromebook needs repairs, please submit it to the librarian as soon as possible so repairs can be completed before the end of the school year and devices can be properly prepared for summer use.
Our goal is to ensure all students have working devices and continued access over the summer.

🟣 Special Note on Earbuds:
Wireless earbuds are not allowed on campus.
🐾 Students will need wired earbuds (the simple kind with a cord connecting them) to use during individual computer lessons. These should be:
Compact enough to roll up and store easily in the clear backpack Not the large, over-the-ear style Designed to fit inside the ear
📵 Wireless earbuds taken out during the school day will be considered unauthorized technology and will be confiscated. A parent or guardian will need to pick them up from the front office.

📵 Cell phones must be turned OFF and kept in backpacks before entering the building.
📵 Phones not turned off will be confiscated — parents must pick them up.
🎒 Phones must stay in backpacks all day.
✅ After 4:15 PM, phones may be used only while waiting for buses in the cafeteria or for parent pickup outside the building.
📵 Using phones elsewhere during the day will result in confiscation.
➡️ This is a state law (HB 1481). Violations will result in consequences that become progressively more severe with each incident.
📞 In case of emergency, parents should call the front office and a message will be delivered to the student

🆔 Student ID Badge Reminder
|
Bulldog students must comply with the Everman ISD Student ID Badge Policy.
All students have been issued one free lanyard and ID Badge at this time.
🔹 Students must wear their school-issued ID badge around their neck at all times while on campus.
🔹 IDs must be in good condition — no stickers, writing, chewing, damage, or alterations.
🔹 Lost or damaged IDs must be replaced by the parent/guardian.
